About TRRF


TRRF represents a group of individuals who are passionate about the Caribbean region as a whole. The group take special interest in the region’s responses to international and global developments and how its organizations exploit available information and these said developments for strategic gains.  TRRF sees the region as being capable of realizing high standard achievements though the proper harnessing and dissemination of knowledge together with the implementation of pragmatic and visionary long term solutions.

TRRF deals with a broad range of issues such as:

  • Risk Management;
  • Corporate Governance;
  • Internal Controls Systems;
  • Anti-Money Laundering;
  • Fraud;
  • Legislative and Regulatory Compliance; and
  • Regional and International initiatives (e.g. CSME, Bank of International Settlement pronouncements, Basel II, OECD, Tax competition, FATF/CFATF and others)

TRRF is committed to presenting issues in a meaningful and practical manner which will facilitate the development of practical and workable solutions through careful and informed analyses. Our expectation is that our presentations will contribute to the strategic and operational thinking of organizations and also impact the development of policies at national and regional levels.

Members of the group have demonstrated their dedication to the development of ideas with regional impact, and the ideals of the group, through the publication of articles and participating as trainers/lecturers at various seminars and training workshops and professional development courses thereby, contributing to the development of knowledge and the introduction of international best practice to the region. Additionally, significant deliberation and planning has gone into formulating the vision and strategies for the group geared at informing and further influencing regional activities.

TRRF is committed to making a significant contribution at the organizational, national and regional level. Against this background we see a Caribbean where its standards of operations, both from the public and private sectors, will provide benchmarks for other regions. The Lignum Vitae is well recognized, regarded and respected within the region. TRRF, through developed strength and dedication to excellence, intends to produce work that will have the same status while making its mark on the future development of the Caribbean region.
